Stian Paulsen - “repair” or “repairs”. Reparations is something totally different. The rubbery thing to remove pencil marks.... we call it an eraser (e-race-err) in the US. Brits may use a different word, don’t know. 👍

Hey Mauro! I use a special vinyl who don’t have to much glue/sticking. It’s easy to remove. The company’s who work professional with vinyl normally have it. Sorry, but I don’t know what it’s called, but it’s normally little transparent. 😄

the vinyl is from Oracal, is called ORAMASK 810 and is having a glue based on water

Thanks Mate! I use a old Roland Vinyl cuter. And I use a vinyl who is made for making negatives logos, the glue is not to strong on that vinyl so it’s easy to remove when you are done😄

I had a go at my own design but when I remove the blue tape (Like you at 3:05 ) I have issues that need fixing. Should I continue with the clear coat then sand it down and repair or should I repair before clear coat?

I agree with him. I am a graphic designer and have wrapped helmets. They do not turn out as good as a painted helmet and do not hold up as well as paint. I have mad respect for helmet painters as a great majority have an unreal product as you can see from the video.

It’s no way to deal with it! Always do mat finish last, because you only paint one layer of mat clear coat, glossy clear coat is thicker and you need 2 layers, then the edge will be massiv!
