Man, this is immersive in a way I never would have considered. A lot of detail, especially with the underwater scenes, and that scene with a truck? I had a series I was working on way back in my heydey, this was before the first stick death maze I currently published back in 2009, called the Intense Stick Assault Series, and it was based and inspired heavily by Krinkel's Madness and Deadsexy22's Savage Stick Combat Series. However that came to mind when I was watching this. I tried several times to reboot the stick death maze series since that was the primary content I was making when I first joined in 2007, and to get back to the point I always wanted to combine the ISA series into an episodic thing like those two aforementioned series and like yours now. So I have to admit I have a certain bias in favor of this series, haha. Keep up the good work my man. You have my support. I really do admire the backstory. I do think that's a golden aspect when I relate it with my own (not that that's a good thing to do per say, they say never to compare with your peers!).

Thank you. The underwater scene and the truck scene took the longest to complete as expected. In both scenes I had to change the background so I could see the onion skin. Anyways, I'm glad your series could relate to mine and even remind you of your past. 2007-2009 was long before I joined the Internet (I made my first video in 2011 on a different channel with another person). Ever since you made that comment in my 100 subs special, I've become more interested in your experience in KZbin and making animations. So please give me any advice and feedback if you have any. You have been animating long before I even heard of KZbin after all.

"Onion skin"? I've never heard that term. Was that uploaded as a background sprite or in the separate background option itself? I'm assuming you're using the same version I use (4.1). I might like to see you do a Watch Me Animate video so one can see some of your style, if you're interested that is. KZbin just introduced this weird chat feature. I haven't tried it yet, but if you have any questions feel free to PM me there. I'll assume it'd be like Facebook's, but we'll see!

I use a multi platform animation platform called Stykz since I own a mac. But I did used to use Pivot during my early years of animating when I used a family shared computer. That version used the term onion skin which was the name of the stick figure's previous position you see when you're editing a frame. I don't want to explain in detail so I guess I will do a watch me animation video some time.

Oh, all right then I know what you're talking about. The previous frame's positions features in the new one when you move the stick, like a "ghost". I'm not too familiar with Stykz. I think I tried it once, but this was back when it first came out, and I thought it was a little clumsy, so I stuck with Pivot. Either way I'm sure it's improved a bunch since then! xD Edit: I don't want it to sound like I was insulting Stykz. What I meant was it had its drawbacks like Pivot does. I don't really remember how they were compared but I do know I wasn't very comfortable using it since it was so much different than Pivot, that's for sure!

I never really liked Stykz when I first used it. But I just got over the fact that Pivot will never release on Mac so I just went with it until eventually I got used to it. Stykz has it's own features that Pivot doesn't have, and vice versa.

Sorry for late reply. In a separate animation I made a couple of frames (3-5) and basically spread out the lines each frame. I then looped it, recorded it and then edited it to the green screen background I put for the fight animation (by changing the colour of the background in the animation software). I hope I explained it well enough.

I use Stykz not stick nodes. But I make it smooth by using a thing called "easing". You can just search it on KZbin and learn from some tutorials.
