I'm 60 and my Dad taught me how to fish for blackfish ! He was a gun . And caught them all year round . Great clip mate . 👍🎣

We used to catch them by the bag full in Narara Creek, Gosford, bottom fishing with bits of shelled prawn and cunje off the Avoca rocks. They are not purely vegetarian.

Ya mate dropped him,gotta keep ya rod high in the air once they're on!great vid i haven't had a go at the Blackie in over a year now...big fun to fish for!we use 12ft vintage fibreglass rods
