1:37 that is from the pilot episode. The executives didnt want to green light the show because Morty wasnt assertive enough. His original animations had Morty being a wimp and doing whatever Rick wanted. That whole bit was just a big "fine i will make him more assertive you jerks!" 🤣🤣🤣

side note-- after you get into the series, you'll see that everything after this looks a little neater visually. The guys had submitted the pilot and there was huge time gap between the first airing and the network picking it up. At first I was a little leery about the reaction [since practically everyone knows about or has seen R&M, to go in so 'cold' seemed a little sus] but you're so expressive & funny and seem to enjoy reacting, I gotta come on this journey with you! lol Always cool to see such an awesome show thru fresh [and hopefully appreciative] eyes oh and that last part where Rick is uncomfortably yelling things and saying the stuff over & over again, I think Justin Roiland [co-creator and the voice of both Rick AND Morty] lost a bet or something as funny... oh and the burping does diminish considerbly over the seasons, but I still think they and their timing [sometimes] are HILARIOUS Another good one for reactions is Gravity Falls... supposed to be for kids, but it gets all Free Mason-y/Illuminati-y/Creepy REAL quick! still fun, but yikes! lol
