@BenadrylJackson9 жыл бұрын
While I prefer the original, both versions do their job well. The stickerbrush stages from DKC2 required honed precision and timing, and a single mistake could spell death. The light, airy snyth of the original song set a calm, meditative mood, which is exactly the mindset a player would need to tackle these stages. This new version is quite different, but very appropriate for an energetic fighting game.

The original Stickerbush Symphony is an absolutely serene masterpiece of video game music, and has its place in my heart too. However, this remix takes the groundwork layed down by David Wise and derives a wild, adventurous, and heart warming and invigorating song that I'm not sure has any equals. There is no doubt in my mind, even after nearly a decade of listening to various artists since first hearing this song, that this is one of the greats among the greats among the greats of video game scores.

To this day, I still remember how I was playing Brawl and when I got to the DK part, I as child was expecting some hard Rock and Roll song, so I guess I didn’t really enjoyed this song, but while time passed and I started having nightmares because I was into creepy pasta and crap, this song was there, helping me sleep and defend myself, and I always remembered it as a part of me, and when I got to hear it again in ultimate and here in KZbin, I felt like that child who was in love with brawl despite everything this game had, so yeah, this song is my lullaby, even to this day.
