Same here. Not sure if the other player revealed interaction or if they missed their line of play but confusing without subtitles or context.

He fucked up by playing yawgmoth will before having the combo pieces. Yawgmoth will says that the cards that go to your graveyard are exiled instead. So no more reanimating and tutoring ... Missplay basically Edit : he still had saw in half in the graveyard to tutor for tendrills and had enough mana to play it with storm 10+... that makes no sens he loses that

@@chasle1876 This won't work because the creature destroyed by Saw in Half will be exiled instead due to Yawgmoth's Will effect, thus no copies will be created.

another day, another stick win. thanks for the gameplay! i was wondering if it is possible to play this deck without yawgmoth's will? I am a stick player myself, thought i use necrotic ooze lines. wanted something different without breaking the bank

Both Necrotic Ooze and Trazyn the Infinite are banned in Duel Commander but if you're playing multiplayer EDH, I think they can be used. I'm not sure if there's a win-con path without Yawgmonth's Will for this type of combo... maybe the players haven't explored that path yet 🤔

You definitely can! The difference is that you will need beseech the mirror bargaining into Gaea's will. Yawgmoth's will is still far more consistent though.

A good cheaper alternative for Yawgmoth's Will is Ill-Gotten Gains

The lack of discard that mono-B has is disturbing.

I'd say it was a bad hand vs the opponent. MonoB usually has tons of graveyard hate. I was actually surprised he lost this match!

Old sticky seems broken even with interaction from opponent as it can just be discarded away.
