The value is not in the damage, but in the increased ammo refund. Note how Sticky Nades leave you with 9 shots remaining when the boss goes immune (with more to be refunded by Deconstruct), while Spike leaves you with only 4 left.

I nabbed a Sticky/Cascade/Deconstruct roll, and it's perfect for the latter two bosses of Warlord's. High burst and never runs out of ammo. Worked amazing for Careraker too in Pantheon. Ammo for every plate.

Also what it would equate to, those 8-9 shots left can basically mean 16-17 more shots with stickies (assuming stickies explode perfectly for the remainder). Spike would be just 5-6 more shots with 4 shots left (or 7 more shots on a fresh procc)

Ammo economy with Sticky is the way. For longer DPS phases, it seems insane. 27s of dmg: 9 ammo, 5 in the mag, and 4 reservers compared to only 4 of spike nades.

What about just using deconstruct with sticky nades? Makes for a simple strat, but if you have field prep you get even more nades to use

Sticky Grenades = More Leftovers Spike Grenades = More Damage The difference? The length of the damage phase, and the option to have a damage rotation or just straight up using the GL alone.

If you're using Cascade you're better off using BnS it is better DPS/Damage. Decon really is best with RoF since you don't need to swap and can just ammo dump. And this is only if the damage phase is long enough. BnS and or Surrounded would always be better dps wise otherwise.

well drops orbs, realistic dmg phase will nearly almost have a well to provide surge stacks. as for super, understandable but i think dodge is fair to replicate some form of instant reload as all classes currently have access to it some way or another

Still the highest per shot, but sticky nades paired with deconstruct allows you to get many more shots off. and mini frags/augmented drum/back up mag mod give you more shots per mag to allow more deconstruct procs per mag (therefore also providing more shots per mag than spike)
