Busbar cutting, punching, bending - with Robot

Fully automatic production of busbars. The transfer of the busbar from the CU-Profi CNC punching and cutting machine to the Stierli 420 CNC-WP Hybrid bending machine is done via the infeed belt. A collaborating robot grips the busbar and bends it completely. If bends in both directions are required, the gripping station is used. To ensure process reliability during bending, the machine can work with automatic angle correction. The bending angle is detected and automatically bent. (Automatic springback compensation). In addition to the robot used, other robot systems are also possible, such as Fanuc, ABB, Yaskawa etc... The speed can also be increased if the bending machine is operated as a bending cell with a safety fence. The transfer from the punching machine to the bending machine can also take place without a conveyor belt. The robot picks up the bent parts directly from the punching machine.
