SLF this band are amazing, have followed them since they started. God knows how many times I have seen them. Still go and see them when they are on tour in the UK. I am now 69 HANX Jake and the boys.

I never knew this band was Irish. This is the first of their videos I have seen. I love this. The song was released in the mid 60s when I was in High school. It had a great melody & rhythm. And of course a wonderful message. It had a sort of beat which inspired Paul Young in his 80s cover to turn it into a reggae style song. l love his version too but the original I first heard as a teenager will always be special. I was very into punk in the 80s & still listen to it, but not live bands so much. Except I saw Irish punks Flogging Molly & Dropkick Murphys in the past 2 yrs. in San Francisco. Yes, and both bands for FREE!

Paul Young actually heard it at a Stiff Little Fingers concert and asked the guys did they mind if he did a cover version also. He then got a hit with it.
