Been seeing these boys play live shows from the start of Caress Your Soul. Probably been to about 15 of their gigs over the years but I gotta say this one was truly magical. From the atmosphere, the banger setlist and the gold standard of musicianship the boys played to. Even the general production value and lighting of the gig was really well put together. I was honestly blown away. Of course I was already 2 caps deep and my mate had the bright idea of wrapping another 2 in gum and swallowing the gumwad “so it will dissolve in your stomach and hit you later on”. I may have been beaming off my face, but seeing their silhouettes at the beginning while the first few notes of Land Of Pleasure rang out before the curtain dropped.. right up to this final song where the sparks rained down. It was truly an enlightening experience. Honestly wish I could relive this show again.

last summer, i took shrooms the week before i went off to uni. i listened to this song in the shower that night and had the most incredible/euphoric experience of my life. for the first time that summer, the dread i felt about my upcoming life change vanished and i felt like the main character in a movie ready to set off on their climactic adventure. every time i replay this song i'm teleported back to that magical night. truly incredible. cheers boys, thank you.
