I announce the news that the second radar of the French company "Thales" Ground Master 400 has arrived in Serbia for equipping Air Surveillance and Reporting units.
Namely, at the presentation of the Mi-35P assault helicopters purchased from the National Guard of Cyprus, from a month ago, the general public learned that the delivery of French radars from the company "Thales" had begun and that the first Ground Master 400 type radar was already in Serbia. , and that the delivery of the second radar is expected by the end of the year.
The Deputy Minister of Defense in charge of material resources, Nenad Miloradović, stated at the time that the first officers of the Air Force and Air Defense are already in France for training in handling and basic maintenance of these radars.
Then it was also said that 22 radars were acquired from the French company "Thales", namely Ground Smarter 40, Ground Master 200 and Ground Master 400 radars.
Ground Master 60 type radars have not been purchased from the French company "Thales" for now.
What is known for sure is that four GM400 type radars, six GM200 type radars, and twelve GS40 type radars were purchased from the aforementioned French company.
The most powerful radar of the Ground Master 400 type was purchased in the ALFA version, which can work from a truck, that is, it is a mobile version of that radar, and Serbia is one of the few that bought that version of this type of radar.
The entire integration of the purchased French radars is done in the system of domestic production, which was shown at this year's fair of weapons and military equipment "Partner 2023".
It is about the automation system of the Air Surveillance, Reporting and Guidance Center called "SA cVOJIN", which is the basic component of the integrated radar network of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Objavljujem vest da je u Srbiju stigao i drugi radar francuske kompanije “Thales” Ground Master 400 za opremanje jedinica Vazdušnog osmatranja i javljanja.
Naime, na prikazu nabavljenih jurišno-desantnih helikoptera Mi-35P kupljenih od nacionalne garde Kipra, od pre mesec dana, šira javnost je saznala da je počela isporuka francuskih radara kompanije “Thales” i da se prvi radar tipa Ground Master 400 već nalazi u Srbiji, a da se dopremanje drugog radara očekuje do kraja godine.
Zamenik ministra odbrane zadužen za materijalne resurse Nenad Miloradović je tada naveo da se prve starešine roda ratnog vazduhoplovstva i protivvazduhoplovne odbrane već nalaze u Francuskoj na obuci za rukovanje i osnovno održavanje ovih radara.
Tada je takođe rečeno da je od francuske kompanije “Thales” nabavljeno 22 radara, a to su radari tipa Ground Smarter 40, Ground Master 200 i Ground Master 400.
Radari tipa Ground Master 60 za sada nisu kupljeni od francuske kompanije “Thales”.
Ono što se pouzdano zna da je od navedene francuske kompanije kupljeno četiri radara tipa GM400, šest radara tipa GM200, i dvanaest radara tipa GS40.
Najmoćniji radar tipa Ground Master 400 je kupljen u varijanti ALFA, koja može da radi sa kamiona, odnosno predstavlja mobilnu varijantu tog radara i Srbija je jedna od retkih koji je kupila tu verziju ovog tipa radara.
Celokupno uvezivanje kupljenih francuskih radara se vrši u sistem domaće proizvodnje, koji je bio prikazan i na ovogodišnjem sajmu naoružanja i vojne opreme “Partner 2023”.
Radi se o sistemu automatizacije centra Vazdušnog osmatranja, javljanja i navođenja nazvan „SA cVOJIN“ koji predstavlja osnovnu komponentu integrisane radarske mreže Vojske Srbije.
