This machine is a beast! 3.7. Has so many features. Just got mine and between this and my neuma 4. These 2 are some heavy hitters in the tattoo game!

Yeah it does look like the bishop size wise. The drive system in this is better than the bishop in my opinion. I’ve got the exo coming soon just prefer the drive system on the flux and the exo is the same. Getting the 2.5mm stroke.

Realistically they are all using falhauber motors. But I personally think the drive system in the flux is a lot smoother, then the stigma comes in second the others don’t come close cause their are just side mounted direct drive. I have a xion with the 3.2 and that’s really nice actually. I used to use my spirit a lot for black and grey and colour if I’m being honest. So I’m really looking forward to using the exo and to see how they run on a power supply’s

I just brought this machine and I don’t know how to fully turn off the battery? Does it turn off its self as I don’t want the battery to drain when I’m not using it Help me pls ❤️

I like the concept of this machine and it's strategically designed aim at the other three big companies in the tattoo industry, Bishop, Cheyenne and FK Irons. But there's something I don't get even as a Flux user, which is the point of electronic give, when organic give is more natural. Furthermore, if I needed "boost" I would just up the voltage in my machine, so why is there a need for boost or better yet, what is it's use? Can you shed any light on this?

I know what you mean. I think the idea for electronic give would be handy for someone who’s transitioning from coils to direct drive. That being said it’s fairly new tech so I can imagine it would get better over time, personally I prefer direct drive. As for boost mode I don’t see any point in having it and it concerns me that my machine could randomly increase speed when lining.

We are open to working with whatever company’s what to work with us. I’ve used a machine that has adjustable stroke in the past it was a stigma. The idea of its is not bad at all. I’m sure it works as many people use the machine.

Enabling boost on the other hand will allow the machine to run without dropping the stitching speed but it will respond to the skin’s resistance and become punchier and faster on difficult areas to ensure optimal results. Copy and pasted from their website

😂😂 each to their own innit. It’s a nice machine though I just prefer the balance shifted forward more. Maybe a stainless steel grip will be better suited to what I like. I’ve tattooed myself with it and it does the job, once it’s fully healed I’ll film my review. 🤘😁🤘

Tbh honnest I own cheyenne unlimited 4.0, flux, flite x1, wand liner/packer, axys vallhala and the stigma force in 4.5 and I have to say it's a no match. Stigma outstands every machine, and for comparison it lines as well as my kubin V3R. I don't really get the "top heavy" even with battery. I didn't feel Gaston's bullshits on front shifted weight. The only machine with front weight ATM is the neuma4 with proper heavy grip. 3.7 might be nice for Black and grey but for lining and color the 4.5 mm force is just a beast.

I think the weight thing is a personal preference personally I prefer the weight shifted towards the front. As for the front shifted weight that’s legit, it’s one of the reasons bishop has the 5mm stroke wand. the machine is so light that with either a battery or a clip cord it shifts the weight to the back of the machine, when trying to line and you have a force pulling at the back of the machine it will affect line work. Using a 5mm cam it’s meant to kinda compensate for that. So far the 3.7 is alright for black and grey but that depends on what kind of effect you want to achieve. If you want that super silky smooth then the shorter the stroke the better but as an all round it’s not bad. I still need to test it further as I’ve only tattooed myself with it so when I’m in work I’ll be testing it properly.

@@ThatTattooShow a lot of the best tattop artists in Black and Grey realism achieves this with 4mm stroke and up. Short stroke, fast speed makes more irritation to the skin. For the supersoft shading you can achieve that with long stroke and lower voltage. And .25 curved mags do more than a short stroke .30 for fine transition.

With a Short stroke run machine a bit slower gets very smooth black and grey. Check out @dnipper he’s my business partner at the studio. He uses a combination of 4mm and 2.5mm depending on what he wants to achieve. Running a 2.5mm at a lower voltage will get a smoother shade the stitch frequency means the dots are closer together. I’m not saying you can’t get smooth black and grey with a 4mm but it’s more efficient in my experience with a shorter stroke machine. It’s all down to personal preference also. I know people who do everything with a 2.5mm stroke machine and their tattoos look mint with no redness etc afterwards
