You need a Steelman Bend-A-Light to look down into spark plug hole. They work great.

Probably time for a new carb or rebuild. Pretty common for them to start leaking over time.

Love the content!! I have a BR800 that the cord is hard to pull it’s not the strap has something to do with the engine block. The fan still works but I noticed that there’s oil everywhere. Not an expert but not sure if you’ve encountered this problem before.

It’s possible the piston wrist pin is bad. Check out my video on BR800 common problems.

That’s a tough question to answer, everything has issues, however, of all the units I fix the ones I see with the least amount of problems are the PB770 and EBZ6500. Both are not the most powerful but have been consistently reliable despite the few issues they each have.
