Awesome vid. I had the identical problem.. NEVER would have guessed that the bushings were supposed to move in the shoe arms, had you not said so. My primer bulb is shot too, but my Stihl dealer is far off and shit, so I used a fingertip off a nitrile glove over the crap one. Working great for now

Hi I’ve got an Fs 240, the head spins on idle I’ve turned the idle down that’s not the problem. Would it need a new clutch?

Usually that happens when the clutch spring has broken

@@harryjones167Yeah two little springs , sometimes the clutch shoes get seized on the pivot point id clean them up if your putting springs in

Yes sir! My FS310 has same clutch and new spring did half a season before failing 👎

Seems to rust up over winter. The grease will stop that now
