How is the blade centered when there is no shoulder to center it on the receiving plate ?

There is a ring on the bearing plate on which the blade is centered.

Thanks. Yes I used teflon spray indeed. It drives out moisture but is also not sticky for dirt.

Hi, would you say that the 4 point anti vibrate system and the M Tronic are making very very much difference? I'm thinking of buying FS 261 that has the same power and 1 point anti vibration, but no M Tronic FS 411has 4 point anti vibration and M Tronic same power

The FS461 has an engine power of 2.2 kW (3 hp) the FS261 of 2.0 kW (2.7 hp), so it has less power. I don't know how much the vibration level will increase from the 4 to the 1 point vibration level. I guess you need to balance between how much and how long you will use it with higher comfort versus a lower price.

I work so close to metal fence posts, concrete foundations etc. I worry about using such a tool agains tough, immovable objects.

I have the same issue. And for that purpose I use the cutting wire instead (see kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZ-wo3h9jtmMftk). These wires are available in different diameters and thereby strengths, so you can balance between strength (endurance) and damage.
