In today's video I unbox the Stihl FSA 120 strimmer, assemble it and give a first use review. Thanks for watching, please like the video and it would be great to get your feedback on this or any other battery gear. Cheers.

For anyone interested, 2 of us out on an 8 hour shift of domestic maintenance got through 3 ap300s and 1 ap300 batteries. Wet, long first cuts too so was pleased with that👍Also I'm not swapping the guard 😂😂

Interesting bit of kit. I’m only really a fan of the battery hedgecutters tbh when it comes to run time. I have the hla86. But now with the Stihl deal I’ve got the hla66 with two 300s batteries too!👍🏼

No I'm not running it 🤠👍.. its sounds really weak when you say it only lasts 33 minutes. But on in and out garden maintenance it will probably last all day . But then again you do 6 times more then what I do so it's a good job you got a spare battery or 2... 😂
@LewisgardenservicesLtd5 ай бұрын
33 mins continuous trigger time was ok I thought, few batteries would do a fair bit on smaller jobs like you say👍👍

Great stuff, they're running the same deal here in new zealand until June, My business is just starting to pick up and definitely considering this tool now mainly due to may getting up anyway in the future when i don't need petrol power and fumes, and a free 375$NZD battery! hard to pass up... may have to buy this looks great

@@LewisgardenservicesLtd yeah! Must be plenty of big factories around the world for sure, pumping them out. Just hoping to see a worthwhile and not expensive as hell option for a electric mower now! Every one I've tried you run through batteries way too quick, ends up costing alot

I dont get the battery brushcutters. When wearing the harness on my big Stihl 410 i dont feel any weight? Thats what the harness is for. Strim and brushcut all day with only a quick 2 min refuel, loads of power and run time. Hedge trimmers, small chainsaws i get the battery, Lawnmowers, brushcutters got to be petrol imo. Enjoy your vids though👍😉
@LewisgardenservicesLtd5 ай бұрын
The vibs from the engine wreck my hands and wrists, even with the best harness taking the weight and a light grip my hands will be bad for days after a while on the petrol kit. I still run it all when needed but only when needed. Cheers for watching as always 👍

It's good to see you have industrial jobs🤙 big companies no doubt buzzing around ready to stick a low ball price in promising clients the earth. One thing though, they cannot look after clients and offer the service the same way the small guy does. well done. Picked up an ego set up yesterday to try out. any experience of this brand?

Hey everyone, I'm currently looking into purchasing the Husqvarna 525iLXT brush cutter and I have a question about its features. I've read about the three speed levels, but I'm wondering if it also offers variable acceleration. Specifically, does the motor adjust its rotation based on how much I press the trigger? If anyone has experience with this model or has information about its features, I would greatly appreciate your input. It would help me make an informed decision before making a purchase. Thanks in advance for your help!
@LewisgardenservicesLtd4 ай бұрын
The Stihl one has variable speed so I'd think that one may well have the same kind of set up. Good luck with it👍
