I got the fsa86r. And 135r both have a place 86 for maintenance edging.. 136 for the big brush cutting. Wouldn't go back to petrol.👍

I have the FSA90R and the KMA130R.i use the 90R with my ap300s batteries and the 130R Kombi with the ap500s batteries. The 130R with the ap300s only gives me about 30-35 mins run time

Thanks for posting. This was very helpful. I had been thinking about the 90, but I will occasionally need to cut some thick stuff like you showed. I already have some Stihl tools and 2 AP300S batteries, so for me it’s just a decision on the right model. Looks like I need the 135.

My goodness that 135 r just eats. I have a small push mower for a small section between a fence and bushes, and above a walkout, but this video convinces me I don't even need that push mower - as fast as that's knocking down that tall grass! In theory, the KMA 135 r should be the same, yeah? It would be nice to have the pole saw attachment as well!

I have the FSA135, not like this one but in bicycle configuration, my brother have the FSA90 also in bicycle handle configuration, is no way the FSA90 can challenge the FSA135, also is much better balanced the FSA135.

Have you tested these two with a weed blade? Can you use a weed cutting blade with both the 90 and 135?

If you're a pro doing this all day, it might be hard to manage keeping all the batteries charged, but for literally anyone else, I feel like the simplicity, lower maintenance power, ease of use make it the best option. I saw these with cuttting disks chopping down thick trees without even bogging down a single bit.
@douglaslawncare2843

Nope, it’s pretty easy to keep them charged.

running it without a guard would definitely overheat it within an hour or two. I have 2 fsa130r and they overheat with the guards on when the temp is 30c - i'm trimming about 6 hours a day so I rotate them and when super hot I just use gas. I go through 5 AP300s batteries a day. for a homeowner it would be silly to get a gas trimmer now

Great video, thanks for your review! How is the battery life? I tried running the Milwaukee battery trimmer this last season and I just couldn't come to grips with running one battery for every yard. Power, build quality, etc was great, but the battery life was atrocious. If I could get through a day of trimming on two batteries I might get into it.
@douglaslawncare2843
@douglaslawncare2843 Жыл бұрын
It all depends on what setting your running it on and what you’re cutting. I’d say you’re looking at anywhere between 25-50 minutes. Just depends on what you’re cutting and what battery you’re using.

@@douglaslawncare2843 So I just got mine and I used the AP 300 and it lasted 5-6 yards. Edging, and trimming around houses. So I can only imagine if it lasted around 50 minutes on the smallest one I have how long with the 500 series I think last. double? Edit; this was on lawns I have maintained a straight edge super clean for a while now. I will still use my gas Shindaiwa with a Edge-it attachment for those that I need to train back and if they are super overgrown.
