Bought hs 56c last year cuts well, fairly light shoulders still get worn out quickly. Highly recommend new stihl hl 94, much easier on back shoulders.Rule of thumb cut from bottom to top.

Tip from a pro, when trimming hedges with a trimmer always do the sides first, then the fronts and finally the tops, good job though buddy!

Those trimmers cut alot better with the blade guard removed, which does nothing but push the leaves down which prevents the blade from cutting them as good as possible..
@FlashTechEngineering5 жыл бұрын
You should add the clipping guard on, stops the clippings dropping down into the bush, also should finish off with manual hedges a cleaner finish. Do 90 percent with petrol hedge trimmer then finish off manually 😀👍

Never quite seen the point in the 56, anything the 45 can't cope with, the 81 definitely will! You may like to try the Husqvarna 122HD60 & 522HDR75X too. Both excellent machines! A bit bias as I use all four.
@davt86153 жыл бұрын
Can't understand why the 56 is 200quid more than the 45, although I've always said the 45 is horrible to use the vibration and noise are terrible and the exhaust spews straight onto the hedges etc. 122hd60 is the best trimmer on the market for the money
@asapmarionavarro36787 жыл бұрын
on the first hedge brother if you raise the bottom of the hedge it would look super clean and the mulch will show more. Try it out and see how you like the look

Huge Stihl fan. I prefer to use the short pole hedger Stihl puts out. Allows you to use your body more rather than just your arms. If you do a lot hedgers then the short pole hedger is the way to go.

Had that one sold it and got the HS82T and it was a game changer. Got the HL94K 145 degrees Monday and they are amazing.
@christiangrillot74557 жыл бұрын
YourWay LawnCare Brad, totally agree with the hs82t. The 30" blades have changed trimming for me forever, although I do feel like I need the R series as well for clean-ups and rejuvenating cuts. Hope you're planning a review on the hl94k after you spend some time with them???

I'd like to see vid on how everyone does their clean up after pruning. I usually use a tarp like Jerry Jones stated. Only takes a second and I can dump in a 42 gal trash can for haul off or ease of bagging when solo.

I’m a Husqvarna fan boy, my absolute favourite favourite hedge cutter is the Husqvarna 122hd60 I’ve put my Husqvarna 122hd60 through it’s absolute maximum and never had a problem, you should try out the Husqvarna 122hd60, you might like it.

I have a set and your right about them doing a great job on box woods. They do hang up on some thicker branches where the echo just cuts right though. I am a echo nut to, but the 56c seems to be far lighter in wt. then my 15 year old echo. i could swing the 56c all day. Have a great day bud!!!

You don't need to run full throttle all the time ,it needs a longer cutting head ,
@fpplsoftwashpressurewashin87577 жыл бұрын
Totally agree here. Hedge trimmers should be ran wide open but you should also negotiate the use of the throttle as you go back and forth. Again, Brian does mention that he is not an expert in the useage of the hedge trimmers or even trimming hedges. I also recommend buying a longer cutting shaft to save even more time. Great video!
