STIHL MS 291 Review. Farm Boss?

The Stihl MS 291 is one huge step above the Farm Boss, and the Farm Boss is a great Chainsaw! From the ballistic polymer to the redesigned chassis, this thing cuts thru oak like it's butter. I was pleasantly surprised on how it out preformed my Stihl Farm Boss!

Just bought this saw today and having trouble starting it. It smells like it’s flooded but not sure what’s going on

It's choke on. Max 3 pulls if the saw doesn't burp. Then choke off, pulls till it starts. More than 3 pulls with the choke on risks fuel flooding. I do this with my Ms382 and Ms250. Works every time.

MS291 is underpowered turd. Husqvarna and Stihl are both good if you buy a PRO Series saw.

Naw ive been using one for a few years. Main thing is keep that chain sharpened after every sawing operation

They are fine saws, why would a home owner spend money on a pro saw?. I have a 291 and an ms661, but the 291 has worked hard and no problems doing pulp or firewood.
