Very good video! I liked the music, but It would be even better if you turned the music off or down some, so we can hear you better. I liked the tips about the cleaning the oil channels. A stiff bristled brush might work pretty well, especially in the field, to clean the sprocket area under the chain cover - that gets clogged constantly of course. Keep up the good work on the videos!

Thank you so much for your positive feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and found the tips helpful. I know I have some issues with the music, but I cannot edit the already uploaded video :(. Next time, I will double-check it before uploading :)

How often would you recommend cleaning it like this?

I use my chainsaw almost every week because we have a lot of trees on site that require attention. As a result, I clean the saw every 10-15 hours of work (every month for me). If you rarely use your saw, I recommend cleaning it at least once a year, ideally at the end of your season.

Man, these are a pain in the butt to try and start.

Check the spark plug first. Clean or replace it if needed. It's usually one of the main issues with chainsaws.
