Stihl MS441 MAGNUM Chainsaw

Had the opportunity to work on this Stihl MS441 Magnum Chainsaw so I figured might as well do a video on it😁 Great running, smooth and powerful, some say this model is not ad good as it's predecessor, the 440 Chainsaw. So let's take a look and test it out.

I have had mine for 15 years now use it hard every year , and it still cuts like a beast ! The Sthil 441 MAGNUM is a awesome chainsaw !

these were good saws but guys didnt like them compared to the old 044. was hard to replace such a great legendary saws. youd love an old 044 10mm slant fin. favorite saw i have by far.

That’s probably the better one as it’s got the manual carburetor. The 441 was Stihls first try at strato-port technology…they were heavy compared to the 440 and 460, with less power. The Mugnum at that point was just the air filter. The W was the wrap handle and coastal style clutch cover and dogs. It has nice AV springs bs the rubber bushings the prior models used.

It's a pretty cool saw but as a fire wood guy. my mini Mac does it all, and if I need bigger I still always go to my trusty 026 . Good looking though

Hey. Do you possibly have the fuel tank top cover and filter top covers as well as handle for a poulan 245a? I have s 306sa im converting to a 245a and need these parts. Ill pay for shipping and all that. Ive been looking for so long i aint got nowhere to turn other than the few chainsaw collectors i know of/chainsaw guys online who might have lines on the parts.

Got one with a 25 inch bar and it made short work of the big maple i had out back. Probably overkill since im using it as a "home owner" saw haha beats the hell out of the little 141 husky i had but i still use the little one for cutting smaller limbs.

Nice saw for sure, man i thought you left the planet as i either didn't notice the notification or more than likely YT imo has a ai system that once you have subscribed to over a thousand or more people they limit the notifications you get in your notification bell? actually about 4 years ago i used to get email notifications when people posted a video that i subbed too But because i wouldn't change my browser they eliminated All my email notifications except when i have wrote in the comment section and got an answer back thats the only email notifications i get now so basically i just get what the bell shows and i believe it's like thirty percent notification not one hundred because i subbed to way over a thousand people. Mr obsolete gave you props so then i had to look up your channel see what i missed lol have fun

I have a school bus with at least 50 stihl and husky saws. I just cant get along with plastic saws? eny road we just posted a video of what I think is a c91 that has a crankshaft clearance problem.

I know service techs complain that it is indeed difficult to work on, much like a clamshell saw in that it requires almost disassembling the entire unit to repair or service basic things.
