Stihl MS460 Oil Pump Replacement - MS660 and other similar models

Here we have a video of us removing and installing a new oil pump in a MS460. One of our customers needed to install a new oil pump so we made this video. If you have any questions please leave them for us in the comments.

Great video what if there is oil everywhere except the oil slot ? Do I just change the oiler ?

Is the oil adjustment on my ms 460 part of the pump you replaced? My adjustment screw is messed up and not getting oil. Hoping that a new pump would fix the issue with the oiler increase/decrease screw problem,..? Any idea? Thanks in advance! And great vid!!!!

Is there a way to get the clutch drum to a torque spec by holding back the piston somehow

Hey, I have problem, my 660 pumps oil just not out the hole onto bar. Maybe it leaks where ya bolt it to saw?

Still have a 460 around here somewhere that’s waiting to be ported. Hope it’s still here haven’t seen it or pulled the rope on it in well over a year. Stock saws are boring 😒

Impact driver alone works. Piston stop is necessary for hand tools

everytime I see someone with a ring on their finder working power tools I get flashbacks to my friend that de-gloved his funder; cringing so hard. plz consider not wearing rings while working. cheers.
