Discover the STIHL guide bar production! In this video, Matthias Müller shares exciting insights into the development of new chainsaw guide bars at STIHL Germany. During the design phase, particular attention is paid to achieving the ideal balance between lightweight construction and durability, as well as rigidity. The resulting prototypes then have to undergo a series of tests until they can be field-tested by our customers worldwide. The goal is always to achieve the maximum safety and satisfaction of our customers. ​

Is Stihl using any laser welded bi-metal for its cutters? I know they have carbide, but what about HSS?

None of our customers like the 50 gauge. 325 btw...63 is still the favorite...
