Mafia - Free Ride Extreme - Mission #10 - Invisible Man

VERY IMPORTANT: Do this mission 10 Invisible Man before Mission 1 Speedy Gonzalez. If you kill Speedy Gonzalez first, it activities a bug and the tram will never show up when chasing the invisible man. If you have been following these vids and ran into this issue, start a new Free Ride Exteme from the main menu and complete Invisible Man. It will save over your 'Subquest' save but make sure you do not save at the safehouse and you will keep your main Free Ride Extreme save via the 'Home' save. You can also follow another video on this channel to get the Bolt Thrower in your main FRE save. I'm very surprised Stilefty never updated these videos with a disclaimer.

@@Thevol40k I was following these vids. Killing Speedy Gonzalez is the first vid and it's really the first mission that most players will do as it's right next to the FRE start point. When I got to Invisible Man the tram never showed up. Researched it a bit and everyone mentioned that killing Speedy causes the issue. But basically, I think there is a glitch that causes the trams to just stay still for the rest of that save in the Story and Free Ride modes. No fix I could find. It could just happen at some point, it could be Invisible Man seeing a dead body (which a lot of people thought) or whatever causes Speedy to go so fast and/or the fire animation that trails him could cause it. Whatever the case, completing Invisible Man first or on another FRE save are the easy solutions and when the tram glitch happens it won't impact any other FRE mission.

the thing is that the invisible man cant miss his train. if he misses it because he gets stuck on NPCs, a second train will never come. i shot everybody near him and made way for him and he got on the train.

Same with me - I waited for 10 minutes at the station. On my map all the L trains are stuck near the Downtown station and they won't move.

I've done 9 very annoying missions and now i find out that there's a bug. Invisible man stops not far from the prise car and says something like "he's dead" and doesn't move. I'ts because I killed a runnig man in the first mission. Now i have to start all over again. Dislike for the author.

I know this is from years ago but just ran into this issue myself as well. I'm not sure why Stilefty never added a disclaimer to these videos. There is another video on this channel that shows an alternate way to retrieve a Bolt Thrower in your main Free Ride Extreme save. It involves shooting a specific window that blacks out the screen and then spawns it at a specific location.

Do you have to actually follow him or can you just go to the location he'll end up and wait there for him?

You have to stay within a certain distance of him at all times, but his route never changes so it just needs patience.
