Ik some have already said it, but I'm just gonna say it again: I love that Stiles started to sweat and get nervous trying to figure out how to dismantle the trap, knowing that he could inadvertently trigger it and cause Lydia to get hurt. But I love that she calmed his nerves a bit, telling him he could figure it out without instructions. ❤ And their embrace of relief afterwards. 💯❤

I can't for the life of me decipher what that one word is, though I feel it should be fairly easy. Apparently the quarantine has given me too much time on my hands however lol. it's so weird. this exact scene is when i thought 'this is a confirmation they are not making them a couple' and everyone else love it because of the chemistry?? 'this is when lydia fell in love'??? i did not see any sort of sexual or romantic longing. it was a dangerous stressful situation with lydia potentially dying from blood loss or becoming an invalid but it ended on a good note, they were relieved, pumped with endorphins and adrenaline, they got so close to each other, looked each other in the eyes and did NOTHING, got closer to each other even as if both realised 'yep, there are no feelings there, i don't want to kiss you'. as if by affirming the lack of feelings they understood that they can get as comfortable with each other as they please and it will always be awkwardless platonic love and support from now on it's so cliche to get them together and i was so happy that teen wolf would not go that route but here we are a couple of years later. whyy
