Actually, I'd argue they're both Mom archetypes. Scott's the stereotype of the kind sympathetic nurturer, Stiles is the equally stereotypical over-dramatic worrying nag. Neither of them fit the usual accompanying Dad cliches - the hen-pecked and checked out drudge, the equally checked out, if warmer, daydreaming eccentric, or the cold authoritarian.

I just rewatched the video again trying to see Stiles as the fathet and Scott as the mother, and you're right! (When we're talking about stereotypes of course) Scott is protective and sweet and the one to have the real conversations with son, while Stiles is the tough dad making more random comments who helps out when necessary and tries to keep the boy safe when needed. He's also a bit harsher than Scott. But either way, whoever you think the mom is and who the dad, it's funny to see them as parents instead of just friends regardless 🙃
