Not whirring of a bandsaw nor a howl of a planer. Just the sound of the bowsaw the thunk thunk of a small hand adze and the sound of a file working away. This is a genuine hand-made item. The end summed it perfectly. There is no youtube style of annoying electric guitar in the background. Just a nightingale singing.

Using the incorporation of sinew on bows of all kinds had became an art craft over the millennia of time, and the same can be said for the shellac based glue he created from the oils of the meal, … and yep, not something one could whittle from a single tree branch, over night, … the concept of using the “left overs” of animal meals, and finding uses for the remnants, is an indelible part of mankind’s past, … I do understand these days at the tender age of 69 years the how, & why, it took mankind so long to climb up the evolutionary ladder to where we are today, … but the old ways need not be forgotten, because the more we advance with the knowledge of those ways, the more human-like we yet become, perhaps there will one day be a use for the shellacking of the sinew based materials into the helmets, shields, or these types of materials to protect mankind, in space, … I know some may spoof, or act like haters, but hey, if it works as intended, who cares? Right?

You joint the woods with some type of resin or glue which amazingly does not skid off or break. C.
