BOX STOCK Amazing second session Arrma got it right with this RTR Still No damages at all completely stock. All stock electronics just geared up to a 17 T which is a little too much. The truck did not get hot but it did have a little bit of a stutter from time to time, I think a 16t would be perfect. Thank you so much Rich it’s super cool to have Phil out here like this every year I bash with other people from time to time out here but it’s not the same. I can see those people anytime and the wind was a little gnarly but once we figured out how it was gonna make the cars handle. We were OK, it’s nuts that he’s got family literally 15 minutes away from my house right in the same area I work at every day I was at work the Friday before and he walked up on my job site him and his wife they went out for a afternoon walk and we were there working so that was pretty awesome too. Very unexpected, an awesome dude for sure. Cool people. Thanks again. Brother. Have a great weekend.👊👊

Awesome run with the New King Kraton 👑. She was flying high and far for sure brother. So DOPE another capable Basher linked up. Interesting what's happening to your Lipos there. I'm diggin all the upgrades that Arrma did on the new Kraton EXB RTR V2. I'm loving the copperheads equally with the backflips tires these days. Another killer session brother

Thank you so much Cris this is an awesome RTR the whole point of just taking it out of the box and going out for a session with no upgrades is completely awesome. The copperheads are some of my favorite tires. They’re not too hard not too soft and they get really good traction in sand and grass, but I still like my backflips. Hell ya bro get it! I swear I think I've spent almost as much on lipo's as I have RC cars lol. Now to convince my wife we need a trip to Florida and for some reason one of my RC cars has to come with us lol. I just got some new backflip v2's for my outcast 8s going to test out sat can't wait! keep sending them Arrma's for us bro!

Can’t help you with the convincing your wife thing but I definitely can help you out a little bit on a nice bash spot in Florida. Pretty white sand beaches 20 minute drive away. Come on down bro that would be super awesome. That’s awesome about the new tires. I hope they work out for you. I know Rich likes them but I’m just not too sure yet. They’re a little bouncy for my liking but they definitely hook up loads of traction. Have an awesome session brother can’t wait for the vid. Happy bashing bro.

Yeah, dude, big difference all the right parts are in 7075 instead of that 6061 stamped aluminum The diffs are stronger on the EXB just all around better choice especially the new EXB. You can’t upgrade a BLX for the price that you can buy the new EXB.

What do you think of the Kraton 6s exb v2 vs kraton8s exb v2? Which was better and why?

I can’t answer that I don’t have the Kraton 8s exb v2 I’ve got an EXB that is built better than the V2 but if you’re looking to purchase one, I would go with this one less to deal with fast right out of the box. The durability is there right out of the box and it’s cheaper to fix them when they break.

How much run time do you get on 5000 mah? I want to get this Kraton , trying to decide what battery to get. I am looking at the 5000mah from spektrum or a 6800 basher from spektrum. The basher battery might not fit so I’m forced to do 5000 if I stick with Spektrum.

What’s up Anthony I get about 10 to 15 minutes of runtime depending how hard I’m pushing the car. I like to run the smaller Lipos because of weight you have less damage to the car but these guys can handle pretty big lipos the way the battery box is designed you can put a good size Lipo in this one. You should be able to get the 6800 in there with no problem, I’ve run 7200mah Lipos in these cars before. Good luck 👍

Thanks man yeah that would’ve been awesome. I always like to put my own power systems in these cars but honestly, this system is pretty good for what it is and the temps stay awesome which is pretty cool also but I’m sure I’ll upgrade the electronics eventually especially this summer

Yeah agreed the stock electrics do look good it’s just for me I don’t have to much $$ to throw around and if I could just put in the power system I wanted in it without having to pay for the stock then I could put that money to a better esc and motor. But for now my plans are tc Asuga roller I have an old max8 combo to put in it. And a Kagama roller with probably a max6 out of my kraton exb or a mmx8s and 1780 kv 4282 motor.
