My name is Edwin Staps and Reggae music is my life!
There are so many beautiful Reggae songs and I recorded a cover of some of my favorites. Four of them I've selected under the name "Sound of Jamaica".
One of those covers is a song by the great Christopher Ellis called: "Still Go a Dance". The song was released in 2020 and produced by Damian "Jr Gong" Marley. The song has the real roots sound and great melody line.
As a musician I'm a Reggae drummer, but I also like to play other instruments, especially the bass.
On this cover I play all the instruments and I sing the lead vocals and backing vocals. Special thanks to my musical friend Remco Calbo for the nice guitar parts in this song.
