Warm results with PRO Q 4, more pleasing to ear, feels more natural and pleasant listening experience. For sure. I agree with NoobFLProducer that Ozone tends to make crystal-clear type of mixes where everything is present and audible, but yet lacking the character, hence mixes sounds a bit lifeless.

I fell the same!Like with ozone you have that separation and that is because i manipulated the stereo field of each instrument and that's a plus so we have the separation but your right it is lacking of "life" of character...beside the mix with pro q4 is quite shocking how lifeless it is , how "thin" or "small" sounds beside the mix made with pro q4 that i feel "full", warm,"phat"... yeah i think i have to buy it and go with it in 2025! Hopefuly publishers and clients will like it also :-)

ozone is an over hyped company. I stopped at 9 and i am so glad i did. Ive got pro q 3 hoping i can upgrade for a better cheaper. As far you mix it really depends what you was going for, if you wanted a more low end mix pro 4 is the way to go, ozone seems like it's missing it's low end but it is cleaner. The instruments you can hear a lot more smoothly. iyd deffo pick pro q 4 just for how warm it is. btw it kinda reminds me of silent hill music.

Happy New Year! I completely agree and i feel the same! Ozone is nice for quick composition treatment, channel per channel or on the mix bus can quicly do the basic eq,distortion-exite, dynamic processing and stereo ballancing but has no character for me works fine as my compositions are sent to publishers on stems cuz they prefer to mix it and master it this is how big companies do but now that i'm started to work with the fabfilter pro q4 the workflow seems really smooth and i love the character that it has and the warmth that brings...about low end...often our composition is judged by how the low end sounds and that is why i'm shocked as fabfilter gave me that low end that is "industry standard" and i love it!
