Two things that might cause the whistling noise when it is cold. 1. The window might not be closing completely. Such as it stops going up too early. Might be something stuck in the window weather stripping groove or it could be just too much friction of the glass sliding in the rubber and the load sensor in the window motor senses that and thinks the window is closed. You can apply some silicone spray to a twisted piece of paper towel and run that all around the window weather stripping groove to lube it. Silicone preserves and lubricates rubber. Maybe the window would close up all the way then. 2. Since the problem happens in the cold it could be a crease or twist in the door weather stripping. Or it could be a gap in joints of the door weather stripping. Again, silicone spray rubbed all around the door seal might help. Good luck!

@GetOutThereToday8 ай бұрын
@@NorthwestBronco where the seal and frame meet. I'm about to upload a video on it.
I finally found a solution to the whistling coming from the passenger window. I tried everything and it drove me nuts. The sound is coming from the top front corner of passenger window. It sounded like it was center to back of top of window. I cut a piece of hard foam into about a 2 inch long piece in a pencil like shape. Stuff it up in between the rubber seal and roof lip to make the front top corner fit tight. After months of adjusting front and back windows, applying lube to rubber seal, etc. This fixed it. I agree with the window whistling and the rock chucking Territory tires 100%. I also hate when the volume comes up on the screen. But I really don’t think it’s too hard to hit the ok button to return to GOAT mode. I have actually found it useful when I’ve left on a mode and returned to pavement and forgot to take it out. I put the steering bushing from Broncobuster on my Wildtrak and added the tie rod sleeves from Rough Country. I also added the Zone offroad perch collar lift but I find it has too much body roll. I’m going to remove them and try the Eibach 2.0 shocks which I just watched a video that said they may the rear of the vehicle feel wiggly but I already ordered them so I will test them out myself, since I am running stock size tires. The other issue I have is the lack of storage. I wouldn’t mind a wider Bronco with a large center console. I have 106,000 km on my Bronco. I do like it, but the whistling window drives me wild. Way too much road noise. For that reason I think I will buy a pickup after this one is miled out. The biggest surprise was how capable it is out the box. I had 2019 Chevy High country before this and the turbo six is a very comparable. I thought I would notice huge power losses but that’s not the case. I would not buy one with a removable roof if I had the choice. I enjoy the ac and keeping clean and I have had roof leaks in the carwash. The seats are fairly comfortable. I have gone on several trips over 1000km and I was comfy the whole way.

We have 2 Wildtraks. A 2 door and a 4 door. We love them. I have had Rubicons in the past and prefer the Bronco. As far as the tie rods. I think Ford is hoping warranties expire and they don't have to replace the HOSS 2 set ups that never should have been on the Bronco. The new ones come with HOSS 3 and it is supposed to be better. I am going to upgrade both to either the HOSS 3, 74 Weld or Bronco Buster steering rack and tie rods eventually. They are pricey though. How do you like the frameless windows? I would prefer framed windows. That would solve most of the problems we have with them presently. Overall, it is a great competitor to Jeep and can go anywhere I have been in a Rubicon.

I have most of the same complaints for my 23 Badlands SAS. Another annoying thing is when the wireless Android auto disconnects, which is all the time You cannot reconnect unless you're at a complete stop. This is for safety reasons which is a bunch of BS! So you're on the highway doing 80 your Android auto and maps disconnect, pullover come to a complete stop to reconnect your Android auto. What a POS

100% agree. Funny thing is that was one of the Cons, but I screwed up the editing and left it out by accident. Thank you for posting that information here.

You can reset the infotainment system by holding the power button (in the volume knob) and the seek forward button for 5 seconds. It should reconnect after it turns back on so you don't have to pull over.
