Its ergonomic design, 'noise' level of the mechanical switches (I got the brown ones), RGB effect, and build quality are all true to what's been covered in your video. Glad you like them! I actually bought a second Q11 on eBay last week because the price was too good! It doesn't make sense at first, but I am starting to hook up my friends and family with keyboards of their own now so I gotta stay stocked up!

Sure thing! I got these from the Keychron website after I got the keyboard. I have given them too much of my money but I love their keyboards for my level of interest in the hobby.

Shoot I never realized there is a Plus version! I love a split spacebar and I love a 40% and I love Keychron. That is my next target...I already bought 4 boards this year and that's one too many.

I was getting slightly worried you were loosing your bearing in the Keychron forest, but clearly I misjudged ;) Putting the numpad in the middle (TYU GHJ BNM K) and the left spacebar to be trigger for that main extra layer was a game changer for me in usability. Seamless to use after that. So much that I do not enjoy my other boards as much anymore... Also having different keycaps for the numpad section helps to find the number section quickly at a glance. It comes with their OSA keycaps, so any other set in that Keychron series can be mixed in to highlight the numpad. The special signs I put on keys on the number layer that is easy to remember when looking at the keys e.g. @ --> A $ --> S # --> D _ --> Z % --> X & --> C ! --> ? ( --> [ ) --> ] and */+- --> QWER and a few other things on that layer that I need to work in Excel seamlessly. The home key is F3, F2, F4 and F11 depending on the layers, and all those layers are available through the keys to the right of the spacebar. All the F keys are of course also available on top of the numpad but on another layer. Overall that makes the keyboard quicker to use than a normal uncustomized 65% and not as quirky as smaller 40%s. Bliss.

I also type the fastest on the cherry profile. In search for other keycaps that I like both aesthetically and feel, the XVX profile or the Akko MDA profile I absolutely love. I type nearly just as fast with it as the Cherry profile, and I enjoy it a lot more.

It’s both! They don’t advertise it as low profile but it is built like one BUT it uses regular switches.

I'm going debating between the Q11 and the Q10 Max. Do you prefer split over Alice? If only they made a Q11 Max, Split Alice with some tilt adjust ability it would be a no brainier..

If only..... Just wait and they might make it soon! They seem to be pumping out a few products per month. But I definitely prefer split over Alice. Definitely, I like that you can easily put the parts back together for a full board experience. But I did just buy myself the Record Alice and will be making a video about that shortly! Get the Q11. I have two of them! Want to buy one of mine?

I am some kind of keyboard hoarder as well. I have a lot of keychron keyboards (k3, v10, q11, k15 pro). If you search for a comfortable ergonomic keyboard, you can save a lot of money by taking the glove 80 and stop "wasting" money. It seems that you have the buget for it.

I do seem to have the budget for it but mainly because I've been selling my Lego sets and dumping that money into my new hobby! I have been hooking friends and family up with boards and breaking even on that, but still spending money overall. Next, I will take a stab at your glove 80 and see how it fits.

I always hope some day someone will state the customer should have a choice between south-facing and north-facing LEDs. It is so sad you now belong to the Cherry MX keycapers now. It's nothing wrong with the feel of MX key caps. It's about south-faceing vs north-facing LEDs. No normal minded person would place the LEDs south-facing, in front of the key - given two minutes to compare the choices. (chatGPT not allowed) - South-facing directy blinds the user. - South-facing also produces a total total uneven brightness. - Also the majority of shine through key caps have the legends at the top and are therefor made for north-facing LEDs. Most sponsored key-tubers will not tell these facts. Maybe because they feature (expensiv) MX key caps sets, that are never shine through, because MX key caps interfere with north-facing LEDs. And this "south-facing is quality" propaganda has spread so violently that now especially small keyboard manufactors like keychron feel forced to offer only south-facing boards. P.S. low profile boards (like my Keychron K15 Pro) obviously have north-faceing LEDs P.S2. Tried ChatGPT ... rofl

Glad that had a positive effect for you, I ended up going for a Voyager and am totally unproductive on it jumping from my keychron k8 but I honestly am enjoying learning to type on it. Waiting for your next video
