I'm waiting for it to arrive. It is true that it is expensive, but the originality and portability is what attracts me the most. Another thing that attracts me is that it does not have backlighting, my eyes really appreciate it.

In all honesty the playdate's strongest use case is for addicting score chasers that take seconds to boot into while waiting in line somewhere. The design does not lend itself well to RPGs and long play sessions just look at it. Its like playing on a piece of cheese.

Oled is nice, but I do love the slim one. It's pocketable and micro usb charge.

I’ve been subbed for a while and have been enjoying your videos. The only thing I would have to say about this video is your ratings on some of the games are based on you not understanding the game. I personally don’t know anything about the games or much about the Playdate. If you are reviewing games, just have a bit more context as to why you are rating it low. This is truly just a toy, and like, it's a good toy, but not even worth 1/4th of the price I'd get a TrimUI smart pro any time of the day over this
