I don't think it's a goodbye. In their last album MV we saw earth getting destroyed. Here, they have that piece of meteor. It flips and things start getting destroyed. Sehun and DO are ignoring each other, xiumin and chen are apart. Kai narrowly escapes accident and thinks he's lost his puppy, etc. But Chanyeol is using his power to send the meteor back to outer space and baekhyun is probably doing the same near water. Suho sees the meteor piece fall back into place and everything reverses back to normal. Xiumin and chen, sehun and DO unite. Kai's accident is reversed and he finds his dog. I think it's just another instalment of their exoplanet concept.

WALESKA! LOL STOP SAYING IT'S GOODBYE! With everything going on, if this is their last album release, I'm not completely surprised (just devastated). I think it feels like a goodbye song with all the legal battle context, but they've probably been working on this prior to that - Kai was still there after all - and they said they'd do their best to stay together :'( Either way, as a Call Me Baby era EXO-L I'm so grateful any time these guys get back together to give us more music. The vocals are mint (obv), but the rap line was just so cool here too. Absolute stars. Can't wait for the other two MVs and the rest of the album!

Possibility vs probability. I know the fear is this is a last album. But given Kai and Sehun have/will enlist. I think 2025 will be earmarked as their 8th EXO album. Whether it is with SM is open to question. But they would want to do a live concert OT/8 or 9. I was ready to fly -but SM gave every other group who had no Military commitments a live venue. Speaks volumes. It's not has if they didn't have years to prepare.
