Every time I train with you in the AC and I enter with my F8, I think that I am going to blow up a few ships.... after training with a ship like that IN MY HANDS I think that the best thing would be to burn it and buy a prospector and a vulture that I would get more out of them. Thanks for the video. PS# I do use that combination of weapons and it is very good.

Anyway, the f8c, i was there that day, the search for a gold ticket, twitch streamers getting the chance for the platinum tickets. I got a gold, i found a few of them, dished them out to the less fortunate and went and purchased it (with store credit and 6 months insurance later they upgraded it to 10 years) this thing sung in the old flight model, wow it was such a joy. Awesome awesome ship, it had the looks. It was the Trish Stratus of star citizen,. I tried all sorts of configurations, but i think i went with those blue lasers?. i think. But no matter what went on there it was great. Now its a wet fish, things could be a lot better when they really sort out the mess of master modes, it might be great for a single player game but not in this flight space sim. There has to be a way to get these old ships back to the glory days. we need 6 degrees of freedom there is no other way. Anyway, congrats on your purchase, its a fine ship but in a bad movie, things will change for the better i hope.

I don't know what happened to mine, or me, but everytime I take mine into AC FreeFlight, guys in Gladius' are flying cycles around me and taking out. I can longer keep pitch on them nor boost away. I am sure it's a skill issue and or rust since I don't play as much anymore, but something feels very different about my $300 gold ticket ship and I don't like it :(

I mean it's definitely, you are not wrong. It's not as good as it used to be. The pitch is much weaker now but it's still pretty good! The flight model has made things a bit different but I'm sure if you put in a few hours, you'd realise it's still capable of wrecking havoc! I still love it to bits! Don't feel too bad, I think it will get better with the coming patches 😄 thanks for the comment dude! Hope this helped!

stock weapons loadout is plenty good enough as is, cannons ammo refresh rate and capacitors are rather horrendous in a fight, laser repeaters x ballistic allows more time on target. hard hitting weaponry is useable but when you run out, and you will its a hard recovery. mixing it up sounds nice since you have a pip per weapon type. heavy flying stick in a squad is a definite must, espc with the f8c's lack of "nose authority", chances of surviving is higher when within your squad mates, if you happen to get sifted out as a primary target just keep in mind the f8 lacks Accel speed to out maneuver most opponents.

Ya the mixed loadout really works and you could have the aim of potato and still deal damage. I felt they worked best against light fighters since you had a much bigger spread around the ship! I'd highly recommend you trying it out! And let me know what you think. Also, In squadron battles, We've been using it as an anchor. So the team always kept it around and it really dose work. It is tanky enough to be put under pressure while the team worked on the bandits from behind. I think its an awesome ship. I also heard it got buffed in 3.24, better pitch and roll rates.
