Im Scottish myself (half Irish) and the characters, attitude, language and all the banter is very authentic. They did a great job! Its a good mix of accents too, multiple different Scottish ones, with some irish and English. I love Roys Barnsley accent (Rooooyyyyyyyyy😭). This is my first time watching the channel, loved when the brush came out because of the fear sweats 😂. Such a bloody brilliant game! I was a mess at the end of it too

Hey kids. Gen-X metalhead here. American expatriate of three decades in Germany. I watched over the course of a day this whole playthrough, barring sleep and meal breaks, pretty much in one go. The world has edges. Boundaries where land meets sea. Desert meets plain. Atmosphere meets void. Light meets dark. The brink where the known meets the unknown. There are safe places for humans away from the brink. Places where things mostly make sense, and life is not a constant mortal struggle. And there are those that leave the safe places for the brink. Oil riggers. Sailors. Soldiers. Conservationists. Pilots. Astronauts. Others I'm not recalling. People that look at the unknown beyond the brink where a job needs doing and say to any of us listening, "Yeah, it's dangerous, but the money's _so good,"_ and maybe the money really is that good, maybe they're trying to get away from something at home, but maybe... maybe they just cannot resist the call to the brink. That need to be where the unknown starts. To see what's out there. Most of us never go to the brink, whether it calls us or not. Many of us go to the brink when it calls and return satisfied. Some of us stay on the brink and find some kind of happiness. Some of us never come back from the brink. About _them,_ we wonder. We admire them. We mourn them. We tell stories about them. This was such a good story. Thanks for going through it for us, Maddie.

I just finished this yesterday myself. That bit in the corridor with Rennick is a pain in the fucking arse because Caz automatically looks over his shoulder at Rennick (which can be done manually via middle mouse button, it doesn't change your actual facing) automatically so you go to do a 180 to flee from the monster which actually turns you towards him...and death, lol. Nice work Maddie, I watched the first hour or so of this and went and got the game myself, played it and returned. I got a bit fucked off with Finlay at the end "...be brave." Fuck's sake mate, I've been brave as fuck for the last few hours roaming about this hellhole getting shit done, lol! Was pleased to see Shaun Dooley crop up in this game, although I totally didn't clock him as Roy initially. He's had parts in Misfits (which is a great UK show if you ever need something to watch), The Witcher, Elden Ring, Xenoblade and loads of stuff. Very good :D Loved this game though, nice work The Chinese Room and thanks Maddie & GP :]
