Definitely a solid 8/10. Was kind of hoping we would see the glowing mountain at the end and it having made it to land. Imagine a sequel where we play as the wife and go through the past in further detail. All while playing a game akin to Steven king’s the mist and trying to get the kids to safety. Would be so cool!

I loved the eldritch thingywump. But as soon as I realized he was on an oil ring I knew everyone was going to die. Even then the boat was destroyed as was the helicopter so they had no true say off. Simply trying to swim it was a death sentence. Even if a boat did show up they would have probably died from the cold.

It's an interesting " Game " with a pretty good story. I wouldn't so much call it a game, though, it's more of a virtual interactive movie, a walking sim with the occasional button to press or wheel to turn. That's not to say that it's not well made because, visually, it's very well done, and you do get the sense of being on a real oil rig. The story is really interesting, and the acting is also very good, but to call it a game, I feel, is a bit of a miss naming. It's definitely worth playing for the experience, though, but not something I would buy as it doesn't really have any replay value after playing the once.
