I love this place, just been this evening with me nephew, I live literally 2 minutes up the road at consett, I take me bait rod and fly rod and go between the two on the bait lake, am still after a big brownie out the main fly lake

In the beginning, I didn't see you add any "float" to the fly? You opinion, does this work? Also, you using barb-less hooks?

Hi, at first I used a fly that was tied with CDC feathers which are feathers from next to a mallards preen gland so they are water repellent to start with. Yes I was using barbless hooks 👍🏻
