What a wonderful wonderful tutorial on creating bases for all sorts of projects! Hwre is a summary with some time stamps: 3:20 - Inner rings (rings 1 and 2): One pipe cleaner per section (6total) pointing inward, centered between the crossbars. Outer rings (rings 3 and 4): Two pipe cleaners per section(12 total) pointing outwards, centered between the crossbars. 18 total pipe cleaners. 3:30 - Bow with 4" and 2 different 1.5" ribbons. 8:23 Adding wire ribbons tails to a wreath You want 3 sets of 2.5”&1.5” ribbon pairs (1 for each pipe cleaner around the form) Each set: 12" 2.5" wide ribbon qty= 6 pieces 12" 1.5" wide ribbon qty= 6 pieces 11:15 ish Dovetail tails 11:42 Diagonal tail cuts 14:00 ish 2 ribbons (paired) per 25" cruffle alternating around the wreath. 14:56 Pinch and pleat and kinda form a V to have tails facing same direction. 16:00 Next set demo 18:30: poof and double curl deco mesh wreath 1 roll 10” deco mesh wreath 14” frame 18 pipe cleaners (like above) 21:26: glue in place 22:59 Poof and double curl method reduces fraying Start outer row- pinch end and uck raw edge under. Secure to first pipe cleaner 23:51 10” loop, pinch and twist into the next tie in the same out section. 24:37 demo 2 of method Continue around outer rings. Anchor last lower level poof by untieing 1st pipe cleaner and adding the last on top and then twisting. 26:22 Start inner row: Jump to nearest inner pipe cleaners and secure the mesh to this spot to start inner ring of 8” poofs 28:40 End of last poof secured into the pipe cleaner where we originally made the jump from outer to inner. 30:25 cut remaining roll into 10” pieces 31:46 Add at least 1 curl to each pipe cleaner. If you have more, spread out the extras in kind of an x shape. 33:00 swag making base with cruffles Base 2 rolls 10” deco mesh 8 pieces of 20-24” lengths from both rolls for a total of 14 pieces to start (might need more later) 35:32 cruffle formation curl the ends, inwards, following the existing curl shape. Clip it, rotate the mesh to the other side to create another curl. Now pinch in the middle and gather to the other side curl. You should window up with a bowtie looking thing. 37:20 attach cruffle to 2 adjacent pine ties at their base. Alternate colors all the way down and back up the other side. 39:50 ish deco mesh poof and double curl method 3 rolls of 10” mesh Start on outer edge with 10” poofs all the way around. Jump to inner level and do 8” poofs all the way around. 48:00 cut off excess 48:30 make curl bundles 18 10” pieces of each of the other 2 colors. Add a curl x bundle, curl side up, into each tie by untieing and the retieing. 53:00 - Add deco mesh to pine wreath 24” 2 rolls deco mesh 7 pieces, 20-24” in length, each roll. 55:33 make cruffles Stick a cruffle in between 2 pine ties. Alternate colors all the way around 59:38 Paint stir stick base table runner type swag 5 gallon stick 17” in length 1 pipe cleaner for hanging loop 6 pipe cleaners twisted off to each side in groups of 3 evenly spread down the stick 104:40 2 pipe cleaners straight up in between the pairs of existing pipe cleaner. Glue in place. 105:00 ish 2 cruffles bundles. to each pipe cleaner. 8 20” pieces each of 2 different colors 10”deco mesh. 1:10 6” dollar tree no fray deco mesh bubble method 14” wreath 6 rolls Lots of zip ties Layer 3 rolls on top of one another. Gather and Create a tail and ziptie it to a crossbar. Only using the center 2 bars of the wreath. Not the inner most, nor the outer most. Create 8” bubble by acrunch and gather. Cinch it down across both bars, slide it close to the original ziptie. 7 bubbles per section approximately. 1:19 spread the layers of each bubble apart randomly.
