Milk powder is made from milk .it does not have fat. In famous dairies ,when there is shortage of mllk., milk is made using milk powder,water and cheap fats like Palmolive oil or any other chaper animal fat. When chemicals are used it becomes harmful. But chemical preservative use in milk or milk products is very common.

Making khoya from milk powder is not a crime Only issue is that this milk powder should be of good quality and refined oil should not be added. ABP news please don't present milk powder as bad thing that's a process to preserve milk for long time.

The thing is.. that milk powder is not a good quality probably has thickeners and flavouring agents ..and cheap people may even use potentially dangerous chemicals in order to make it similar to milk and enhance flavour and increase its self life

Till now no one has clarified, how खोया made by using milk powder or tonned milk plus refined oil, can be called spurious/ adulterateed मावा. Ghee/cream/butter in full fat milk contains, cholesterol and saturated fats which are harmful for cardio- vescular health.

Milk powder is made out of milk. With addictives. It is a expensive process. Regular milk is cheaper. Yes powder will help to evoparate the water contained. Oil is added to give it richer texture. Ghee essence is also added.. most people would not be able to afford real khoya. So pls let poorer people afford what the can..

All Dairies have outsourced milk collection to agent. These collection agent do not care about quality of milk by testing they just take milk without appropriate cold storage and supply it to diaries. Most branded co's are involved in these kind of practises to reduce cost of their milk. So if they are caught with adulterated milk they will say milk is tested and collected by third party collector agents so its not diaries fault. This is happening in all food manufacturing business throughout india raw material supplier is someone else manufacturer is someone else and branding is done by MNC brands. Two advantages 1> will reduce the cost 2> if something goes drastically wrong they will put the blame on suppliers negligence. Only state with less adulteration in food product is TamilNadu and Kerala yes TN is corrupt and they do not allow companies from other states to grow but food wise its the best unadulterated food including milk you can get.
