Hello, doesn't the 16-pin have a black ground wire? Forgive my ignorance but why can't we vampire clip this light green into the black ground on the existing harness, why does it need to be ran all the way down? Not an electrician here...

Yes I actually state this in the beginning video showing the diagram that you can do this. I didn't feel comfortable cutting two wires on the back of the heigh10 is the reason I didn't.

Would you happen to know which wire is the parking brake wire for a dodge charger ? I have looked at manuals that say the green wire is parking brake ...but it is not light green. I have the pac unit and all my mess of wires looks just as jumbled as yours but I am having a hard time finding the "right" wire and I am afraid to cut anything without being 100% sure.

According to the diagram it should be the same wire for all vehicles for that area of the heigh10. The diagram screen shot I have there should be laid out in order. I recommend following that diagram and using a j hook trim removal tool to use it to inspect the wires individually since they are small wires. You should find the right green wire using that method.

@@SmokyMTNTaco Thank you for repling so quickly. I did find a lite green wire that had a tubular conector i could not figure out what it was for. so i took a chance and disconected the wire and touched one end to the stereo chasis ...and it came up imediately "please connect and HDMI device" it could not have been eaiser. i just used the balck wire as ground with a crimp like connector. Your video did help a lot thanks again.

My suspicion is that your e brake sensor is activated and preventing HDMI access. If you ground it like in the video, it will probably work. After installing the guild outfitters rear power outlet, check out the video, my HDMI would not work either. It was triggering the e brake sensor. After the mod, I have got HDMI anytime. Hope this helps!
