Lovely video again Stinger. Really the best FM creator out there. Got a question about doing “quick” saves like this: Do you play every game all season long? Or do you holiday/quick result during the season? And same goes for training, you set up individual/group training and schedules every week or do you let your assistants cover this? Want to do a save like this aswell but I always tend to spend way to much time on all the side things and not really progressing at a nice pace to the next seasons.

Challenge like this I set tactic, play 5 or so games to see if its looking OK then sim till the European matches. Set all responsibilities you mention to staff

Had serious doubts when I seen that tactic, I’m sure I’ve chucked something horrific looking like that together on a losing run and at my wits end but fair play for getting it to work & bring success! That Camara boy was a class act, wonder what he’d have looked like come S5 had you needed it! Looking forward to the next ones! Once Europe is done are you planning on expanding it to South America, Asia etc?

Hey stinger, amazing video. Have you ever thought of doing a Vaduz save like this? They’re in the Swiss league but can only qualify for the conference league via the liechtenstein cup. This basically means you don’t need to hold back in the league and can use some crazy tactics

Damn, Gent and not Genk. 😅 Ah, Genk should’ve just won that European playoff last season! maybe we would have been chosen lol. It’s amazing how badly squads are rated in FM because somehow Delorge who is their star man is chilling in their youth team and their strikers Max Dean and Gudjohnson weren't even mentioned once so they must suck in game? Tbf Gent had some fantastic attackers last few seasons: Cuypers (Chicago Fire), Orban (Hoffenheim), Fofana (Lyon), Fernandez Pardo (Lille), Salah (Rennes), Yaremchuk, and David. But then they sold Cuypers, Orban, and Fofana last winter for around €44 million while being outsiders for the league title and Pardo left in the summer. Instead of reinvesting, they gambled on unproven players as Gudjohnson, Surdez and max dean (who was decent but did his ACL) However they have spent €7 million on Sonko, who hasn’t done much so far. The managerial situation didn’t help either. Gent used to play a 3-4-3 under their best-ever manager Vanhaezebrouck who won them that league title in 2015, but he left at the end of last season. They decided to go for Genk’s manager, Vrancken, who left Genk a few matchdays before the end of the season since it was clear he was heading to Gent and soon be facing Genk for that conference league spot (even though it wasn’t official yet, and he didn’t take over until the new season). His switch to Gent’s 4-2-3-1 system didn’t work out, though. Add in the loss of all their top strikers and two key midfielders, and things went downhill fast. Vrancken ended up getting sacked this week.

I'd claim Netherlands are one of the very easiest challenges of this kind. There's at least 10 teams that can balance 4th or 6th place in the league and great EL or ECL performances withtin 5 years. Let's have some fun in Sweden, Norway, Croatia, or Austria first.
