Stunning looking sting rays, and great videos. I've fished Lepe, but not gone out near Lymington, but looks a nice spot!

Favourite KZbinr. You make amazing well filmed content. Idk how you don’t have more subs.

Jack Knight I really appreciate the comment buddy. I do enjoy making these films even if it’s just to help whoever is interested or those that just enjoy watching fishing films. At the end of the day it’s a timeline of my fishing trips which will be cool to look back at in years to come. Obviously the dream is to make more content and fish everyday surviving off KZbin revenue but what KZbin fishermen wouldn’t want that? I just think with the amount of content out there these days and KZbin algorithms it’s hard to get seen. I’ll still keep making videos because I enjoy it and if you could share them that would be great. I’m hopefully targeting Undulate rays or Guilthead Bream next when the weather gets better. 👍

The Yakler well put it this way, I’m a carp angler and I’ve only recently found your channel but I’m already looking to buy my 1st kayak as it looks like so much fun. And as regards of getting noticed I’m sure it’s just a matter of time, keep it up mate 🙏

The Yakler thinking about getting a “Galaxy kayak Sturgeon” ??? Opinion 🤷‍♂️
@Theyakler
@Theyakler 5 жыл бұрын
Jack Knight The Galaxy Sturgeon is alright a friend had one but they are very heavy. You better off getting a secondhand Ocean kayak Trident / Ultra or prowler they are great stable kayaks for getting into the sport. You’ll probably get some extra bits with it like rod holders or trolleys depending on the seller. The Perception Angler is another good startup kayak.

Fantastic vids. Please could I ask for some advice as to where I can find info on what winds are suitable to fish certain spots. Eg tanners Lane. Cheers Dave.
@Theyakler
@Theyakler 4 жыл бұрын
Xcweather or windy.com are good sites for the wind. Anything under 20mph is good conditions.

Charlie Hickman it’s a bit hit and miss but usually in Summer for a couple weeks they turn up there. Especially if we get a few really hot days.

Tide run looks quite Savage sometimes. Do you usually cast straight down tide? I'd have thought you needed a decent sized grip lead to hold in that but you don't seem to use them. Wouldn't want to one of those spines in my thigh 😮

L-J-H Only for an hour or so then it calms down. Its tricky getting them on board but as long as you have a towel it’s all good.

What can I say??! An excellent video excellent result simply well done. Also saw your previous smooth hound session which was Incredible. I never fished the Solnet yet I’m from london and new to yak fishing mostly do Kent and Sussex water, one time Blackwater in Essex. (you can check my channel) anyhow wondered what is the camera that you are using to shot your videos? I haven’t seen any go pro on your Railblaza mount or anything that looks like a camera. David

CastaNet Fishing & Kayak Adventures Cheers buddy subbed to your channel 👍 I use a go pro Hero 6 for all my films. You should try the Solent especially this time of year loads of species about.

The Yakler yes looking into the weather it is not promising. Next Tuesday the 18th looks good but it is a big tide and the high water is what... around 6.30am. If I can fish mid of week coming from London is only to start fishing before sunrise but when hw so early it doesn’t leave so much time to fish the flood. I reckon the Solent on big tide day to fish the ebb is not so much fun. Maybe I am mistaken correct me if I’m wrong.
