Today's video is a review of the Era 2 Western Alliance Light Tank, the Stingray.
This light tank is a larger profile light tank but benefits from the light tank concealment and has a great 105mm gun that means it plays well as a light/medium hybrid.
I tell you all you need to know about the Stingray, show you my equipment and commander setup as well as demonstrating how this tank performs with the stock and fully upgraded gun in three gameplays.

Hi mate! Sorry for the late reply. Unfortunately, I was recently unwell with a virus, then when I recovered from that, I slipped on a walk and ended up in the hospital lol. Since then, I've just been recovering and I haven't been able to play or record videos until now! Since this video the Stingray 2 has been even more overshadowed by recent additions to Era 2 and I agree that it isn't competitive anymore. Thanks for watching and I hope you are well :)

Just playing this one again with the silver bonus event. Its not really a light more like a medium. You can get a Leopard to play similar but better in all areas. Needs a buff to detection as you get spotted so easily as its a big light. Plus speed up any rises drops away to heavy tank speed even with speed equipment. One to play for a challenge. Great review as always.

I completely agree. I kind of feel it lacks a purpose because of the reasons you just said, maybe if it had a better DPM or something else it would find a place on the battlefield but at the moment it kind of is a 'hard mode' medium tank lol. Thanks as always for supporting the channel mate :)

The great thing about the stingray 2 is when you upgrade the gun you get a reduction in reload time with rations it's 4.9 seconds reload which is great you can more shells out faster than most heavy tanks in ERA 3

I sold my Stingray 2 and bought the British Vickers it has a better gun

I have just finished my Stingray 2 grind. I enjoyed it but it does feel a little underwhelming. Plays like a slightly better concealed medium. I chose the M3A2 first because I love ATGMs but I look forward to the M8 AGS and eventually I will get the Vickers through the British Tech Tree. Thanks for supporting my channel mate :)
