Looks pretty similar to mugworth and as the other user pointed out wormwood aswell. Those probably could be used in a similar way i would imagine.

don't have to boil it, just steep it in near boiling water. Like a half handful in a four cup container.

Wormwood is used throughout the world. Absinthe was derived from wormwood. Europeans use it to help the stomach and intestines. The European wormwood was also mfound to be a good replacement for quinine. Whe they were running out of quinine someone found wormwood was more effective against malaria. Which was amusing since it grew all over England and Europe and they spent millions growing and finding quinine when they had something better all around their homes and called it a weed.

You are referring specifically to Artemesia absinthium for absinthe and A. annua for quinine which is not quite the same as this wormwood (A. tilesii). The WHO did a famous study several years ago on the use of A. annua which showed that it was at least as effective, but safer than quinine. It also showed some anti-cancer activity against certain skin cancers. The Chinese also use A. moxa to make moxa sticks for heating acupuncture points. There are many different types of Artemesins (wormwood) throughout the world. Alaskan wormwood is quite different from both Chinese and European wormwood.
