Recipe
Stir-Fried Bok Choy, Cabbage, and Salmon
Ingredients:
6 Baby Bok Choy-use lengthwise
¼ cabbage
1 TBSP of olive oil
¼ tsp of red pepper flakes
½ tsp of curry powder
1 tsp of shrimp paste
2 green onions, cut at an angle
1 small onion/shallot- thinly sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 TBSP of minced ginger
1 lb of salmon, medium dice
Toasted sesame seeds( warm in a sauté pan until light brown)
Sauce
½ cup of Vietnamese broth
1/4 tsp of salt
1tsp of sesame oil
1 ½ of cornstarch
Here’s a flavorful recipe for Stir-Fried Bok Choy with Salmon that you can easily whip up in your kitchen!
1. Heat water, cook veggies for 1 minutes and transfer in cold water to shock
2. In a wok, add oil, red pepper flakes, curry, and shrimp paste- about 20 seconds
3. Add both onions, garlic and ginger- and cook for another minute
4. Add salmon and coat completely with curry/onion mixture. Stirring over high heat
5. Add sauce and continue to stir until it thickens, about 1 minute.
6. Add bok choy, cabbage, stir lightly to coat and reheated completely.
7. Transfer on a platter, garnish with sesame seeds, and serve.
