From mi a likkle youth mi a listen twins of twins and from dem time deh it entertaining until now. This series is a remarkable catalog of consistency, writing and storytelling. One thing that has changed since mi a likkle youth is how I view these stories. Initially, as a youth it was all entertainment and I was just interested in the story and having a laugh. Now that I'm older, wiser and equipped with a more comprehensive grasp of literature and literary devices, I can confirm, that which was evident all along but now with more conviction, dem man ya bad nuh bloodclaat! In more eloquent terms, Twins of Twins are remarkably talented. I truly believe they are up there with Jamaica's best writers and storytellers, past and present. Unfortunately that praise is not readily given to them. The way they manage to touch on hard hitting truths, using comedy as the vehicle to deliver satirical renditions of Jamaican characters, characteristics and overall environment is brilliant.
