Stitch by Stitch

A Short Documentary about the empowerment of Women through knitting, set in rural Kenya. Stitch by Stitch gives a glimpse into the lives of the Women at the grassroots business, Kenana Knitters, and tells the stories of empowerment in their lives.
This film wouldn't have been possible without the fantastic support of Kenana Knitters, and especially Paddy Knightingale, and Kerry Outram.

Very inspiring work they do. My heart goes to these women for their courage to keep their spirit up, hope and prayer to keep them going stitch by stitch. We are very lucky in many ways in western world. Many like me who grew up or even spent few years of childhood in the third world countries would understand their struggle, where there is medical insurance, no pension etc and no facilities for miles around and long line ups in cities. God bless everyone!
