Hi, the space to the right of the needle (Sewing space) on Usha Janome Stitch Magic model is 6.5 inches. You can see a scale mapped on the bed of the machine for a total of 9 inches. However, since the needle starts from 2.5 inches of the scale - the total space is 6.5 inches. ~Team USHA

Manju jaiswal keep the fabric below the presser foot and lift the presser foot up and start stitching manually by moving the fabric with ur hands for few seconds or inches..and now place the presser foot down as usual and start stitching..it worked for me
