Hi Glenda, I absolutely love your work. Could you please tell us what the yarn size is for us in the UK, we don't have ours in worsted weight, we have 3ply, 4ply, double knit, chunky, super chunky and Aran. Also the hook size, we work in mm thank you so much xx 💕

Pattern number 57 it’s called a Lupe pattern I would like to know how many I have to chain on for a full size afghan how many chains do I need I love this pattern thanks creative grandma
@karlaharkness24975 жыл бұрын
To make a decent sized throw how many skeins do you think you would need of landscapes
@sweetpickle575 жыл бұрын
Karla Harkness Allfreecrochet on line has a chart called How much yarn will I need? Approximate yardage needed for a afghan using a Medium 4 - shows about 3000 yards. Lion brand Landscapes yarn has 147 yrds - 3.5 oz. per skein.

Could you do a tutorial on the feather stitch pattern I’ve watched other videos of it when they use the chainless foundation chain I think it takes longer to do that instead of the normal chains

This is one of our favorites . I have yarn question i have grandaughter with sensitive skin. She loves learning crochet. Can u suggest a soft durable yarn that wont feel itcy .
@CreativeGrandma5 жыл бұрын
Lion Brand Touch of Merino is an excellent super soft yarn.
@patticatron65735 жыл бұрын
Would a different weight yarn work too? Like a 5 bulky
@CreativeGrandma5 жыл бұрын
yes you can use any weight just adjust your hook size
@ruthhornberger10185 жыл бұрын
I have a question. You skip 3 chains and work into the 4th chain. If you don't want big holes why can't you just skip 2 chains instead of three and crochet into the 3rd chain instead of the 4th? I am really new to crochet. I'm just learning how to make the diff sts. So I have a lot of questions.
@CreativeGrandma5 жыл бұрын
Ruth, you can try it that way, this is just the way the pattern is written, sometimes when skipping stitches if you do not skip enough stitches the your stitch pattern will start to have a wave effect from to many stitches across skipping 3 chs allows so you do not get the wave effect. I hope that make sense to you, not sure if I am explaining it good enough. LOL It is good to ask questions.
@ruthhornberger10185 жыл бұрын
@@CreativeGrandma You explained it very well. Thank you so much. Like I said I am new to crochet. You just taught me how to do the triple stitch also. So double thank you.

Is there anything else besides Afghans that you have a stitch of the week, like baby shower souvenirs, baby gift sets which includes bibs baby bottle covers and pacifier holders
@margewerden66755 жыл бұрын
Hi Martha... just wanted to share with you what I do with the stitch of the week.... I make wash cloths!!! That way, I can test the stitch... and have something to show for it.... not having to make something that would take me a couple of weeks to finish. (Some times, it takes me a couple of MONTHS.) ...hehe
@carolynfranklin13523 жыл бұрын
can you crochet a cookie stitch I do not have a picture
@shellinearmstrong71775 жыл бұрын
You can’t see the stitch in the last sample
@laurelstieg93755 жыл бұрын
Very pretty,but that's a treble,no such thing as a triple crochet..I looked it up in stitch terminology.pretty tho.
@annphillips15635 жыл бұрын
It goes by both terms.
@SilverIchimaru5 жыл бұрын
Depends on the country you are from. Pretty sure Britain calls it a treble but if you learned in America you learned the triple. I know that was true for me, so I was terribly confused the first time I had to try and follow a British youtuber for a crochet tutorial.
@CreativeGrandma5 жыл бұрын
Thank You for the information, I was taught it was a triple, sorry if I confused you.
@laurelstieg93755 жыл бұрын
I was not confused.have been crocheting for 50 years and a triple crochet is not in any terminology in the UK or USA. I just think it depends on what part of the country you are in.
